Women of Outstanding Achievement in Science, Engineering and Technology 2010
Nominations are closed!
What do Barbara Jones, Professor Linda Partridge, Dr Jenny Gristock, Dr Caroline
Crawford, Ann Budge and Professor Lynne Frostick all have in common?
In 2009 they were awarded as women of outstanding achievement in science, engineering
and technology (
See all six portraits in Second Life, October - December 2009). Following the wonderful collection of portraits this year the UK Resource
Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (UKRC) is delighted to continue
towards the 2010 exhibition.
The Women of Outstanding Achievement in SET Photographic Exhibition is an internationally
recognised initiative celebrating talented women across science, engineering and
technology.
Celebrating and recognising the exceptional talents of women scientists, engineers
and technologists is at the heart of the work of the UKRC. As the UK increasingly
competes to remain at the forefront of science and innovation it is crucial to
recognise, develop and support the talents of a diverse workforce. Through celebrating
the outstanding women and profiling them as role models we can continue to inspire
many others to pursue successful careers in these sectors.
Celebrate with us! In 2010 UKRC will mark five years of the Women of Outstanding Achievement in
SET Photographic Exhibition. Want to attend the launch event? Please register
