Research and statistics

The UKRC commissions and supports research projects and surveys to address gaps in knowledge, investigate emerging issues and identify innovative interventions to address women’s under-representation in science, engineering and technology, looking at both gender equality and wider diversity issues.   
 
We also collate and analyse statistics about women in SET to establish a baseline and monitor improvements in women’s participation and position within these sectors. These statistics are continually updated with the most recent statistics available from a range of sources and can be accessed freely online.
