Welcome to the Services for Women section of the website.
Who do we work with?
We work with women across the UK, in all areas of science, engineering, the built
environment and technology (SET). This includes women:
- just starting on SET studies at college or university
- looking for their first, second, third SET job...
- thinking about taking a break, but wanting to be sure they can return
- having time out, and hoping to get back into SET work
- wanting promotion and development
- entrepreneurs and women in small businesses
- leaders, and women who are taking on positions of leadership
- women wanting to encourage and help other women in SET
How can we help you - and how can you help women in SET?
We work closely with women who have had a
career break, offering one-to-one support and the opportunity to meet other returners. With
the Open University we run an
on line course for returners to SET. The next course starts in October 2008, and you may be
eligible for a UKRC bursary.
We also help women progress in their careers and take on leadership positions.
We offer:
So there are many ways we can help you to be active if you want to do more.
If you can't find the information you need, please
contact us - we look forward to hearing from you.
